Whole-Body Cryotherapy in Atlanta

A short, deliberately cold exposure — typically two to three minutes — used as part of a structured recovery routine.

What it is

Whole-body cryotherapy places you in a chamber cooled far below freezing for a brief, timed session. You stay standing, you stay dry, and the session is short by design — most last between two and three minutes.

The cold is intense but the exposure is brief. Clients typically describe the first thirty seconds as the hardest part and the minutes afterward as the reason they come back.

What a session looks like

Total time in the studio is usually under twenty minutes, which is why it pairs well with a lunch break or the end of a training session.

Who tends to use it

How it fits with everything else

Cryotherapy is rarely the whole routine. Most members pair it with compression therapy in the same visit, or alternate it with infrared sauna across the week. Whole-body cryotherapy is unlimited on the Plutus Elite and Founder's memberships and available à la carte.

Common questions

How cold is the chamber?

Whole-body cryotherapy chambers run far below freezing — considerably colder than an ice bath. The exposure is brief and you remain dry throughout, which is what makes the temperature tolerable.

How long is a session?

Two to three minutes in the chamber. First-time clients start on the shorter end and build up as they get comfortable.

What should I wear?

Dry shorts or athletic wear. We provide gloves and socks. Anything damp has to stay outside the chamber, so bring a change if you're coming straight from a workout.

How often do people come in?

It varies with training load and goals. Members training hard often come several times a week; others use it more occasionally. Staff will help you find a cadence that fits.
