Assisted Stretch
Assisted Stretch Therapy in Atlanta
One-on-one table work where a practitioner moves you through ranges you can't easily reach on your own.
What it is
Assisted stretch is hands-on and personal: you lie on a table and a practitioner moves your limbs through controlled ranges of motion, holding positions and adjusting based on what they find.
Unlike the equipment-based services, this one is guided by a person the whole way through — which is why sessions are booked rather than dropped in on.
What a session looks like
- Brief conversation about what's tight, sore, or limiting you.
- Table work targeting hips, hamstrings, shoulders, back — wherever needs it.
- Practitioner adjusts pressure and depth based on your feedback throughout.
Who tends to use it
- Desk workers with hip and shoulder restriction
- Lifters working on positional limitations
- Runners managing chronically tight posterior chains
- Anyone who stretches badly on their own — which is most people
How it fits with everything else
Stretch works well after infrared sauna, when tissue is already warm. Because it requires a practitioner, it is capped rather than unlimited: two sessions a month on Plutus Elite and Founder's, one a month on Lifestyle, and not included in Signature.
Common questions
Is this a massage?
No. Massage works on tissue directly; assisted stretch moves you through ranges of motion. Some people use both.
Will it hurt?
It should feel like a strong stretch, not pain. The practitioner adjusts continuously based on your feedback.
What should I wear?
Athletic wear you can move in — leggings or shorts and a shirt that allows shoulder movement.
How often?
Most members book once or twice a month, which matches the membership allocations.
